Lydia Marchione Mezzo-Soprano Opera Singer
Singing Lessons at The Hanwell Voice Studio W7 London.
My method of teaching is based on the fine-tuning of a combination of elements that work simultaneously to create your individual most perfect sound.
When the body has the right balance of relaxation, focus and support, the voice is liberated, enabling the singer to communicate to their audience with finesse and ease.
Once the singer has mastered the basics of my technique they will find that their range expands, the support is strong and reliable, and their breath control becomes automatic.
I have had the joy to witness time and time again how persevering with these basic rules of technique can give a singer the confidence to deliver their optimal performance at all times.
Lessons are informal and relaxed as I know from experience how tension in the body does not produce a good sound! Everyone takes information in at their own pace so I am patient and careful to avoid any vocal discomfort whatsoever.
I enjoy teaching all ages and levels, whether it be opera, musicals or pop.
I look forward to working with you.
Lydia Marchione AGSM.
